But we will venture into the villages of the island's interior and southern edge, where we'll toast & dine with locals, enjoy a different kind of sunset on the sea and experience the soothing sounds of the most ancient music in an enchanting, magical secret garden.
Crete is the breadbasket of Greece. The ultimate farm to table before there was such an expression. We'll have beautiful beachtime, peppered with cheesemaking and pasta making and wine tasting. But the highlight will be joining in the local harvest in a small mountain village on an old family vineyard. A traditional Cretan celebration!
